I used to own (with a friend of mine) a club in Santiago (Dominican Republic) and this was always the last track we played to close the night.

Ace Of Base – The Sign [Marcelo Flix & Xavier Flix Remix]

This is my first collaboration with DJ Flix (my son).

The track was created to participate on a remixing competition at Indaba Music.
Although we didn’t get many votes, I still think it is, by far, one of the best submissions — at least, much better than the one that won the contest.

Everything you will hear in the remix was originally created using Ableton Live‘s Max & Nexus plugins.

xPeriments with Loops

Back in the mid-90s I was very deep into techno, German techno. I think I actually owned all of the Techno Trax CDs.
So one day, after receiving one of the first loops collections I bought from Sony for Acid Pro, I decided to start producing my first EP under the name “xPeriments with Loops”.

I created four original tracks but only got to finish two of them and of the two, I only really like Track #2 (untitled).
